What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a mental state which you have heightened focus, concentration and inner absorption. When you’re in a hypnotic trance, you usually feel calm and relaxed, and you can concentrate intensely on a specific thought, memory, feeling or sensation while blocking out distractions. Under hypnosis, you’re more open than usual to suggestions, and this can be used to modify your perceptions, behavior, sensations and emotions. Therapeutic hypnosis is used to improve your health and well-being and is different from so-called stage hypnosis used by entertainers. Although you’re more open to suggestion during therapeutic hypnosis, your free will remains intact and you don’t lose control over your behavior

What are the benefits of hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a very powerful and transformative tool for positive self development. It can help with increasing confidence, processing trauma, reclaiming creativity, overcoming unhealthy habits and fears, exploring spirituality, releasing weight, reducing stress, and more.

Much like yoga or meditation, hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness in which you are able to take an active role in changing beliefs and patterns present in your unconscious mind. Studies have shown a 93% recovery rate after six hypnosis sessions (in comparison to a 38% recovery rate after an average of 600 traditional psychoanalysis sessions).
